Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour (based on experience)

Operates and maintains equipment, systems and utilities. Performs maintenance of central plant equipment and provides expertise to staff.

• Implies utility systems or equipment operating systems to meet patient care needs.
• Diagnoses, remedies and recommends improvements for existing utility systems and equipment.
• Ensures minimal disruption to patient care during emergencies and provides fire control access to minimally accessible spaces.
• Maintains compliance with manufacturer specifications and standard safety precautions.
• Records meter and gauge readings and repair work performed.
• Inspects and chemically treats boiler water and cooling towers, maintaining approved pH range.
• Operates fire system control devices and panels, performing minor repair work and maintenance and custodial services.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.

• Driver’s License
• Stationary Engineer experience
• High School diploma or GED;
  Preferred: HVAC training program or extensive maintenance experience.
• Class A Stationary Certificate, or can become Class A certified within 1 year of hire.
• 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting; 6 years of relevant experience.
