SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine!
We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as we continue to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with other team members.
The CSR works well with co‑workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), uses basic communication skills, applies good judgment in decision‑making, and may explain work methods and instructions. The position may involve aiding in training others or demonstrating work processes.

Responsibilities- Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
- Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
- Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport to proper disposal areas)
- Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures; stop risk behavior of others and self
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems for the environment
- Transport small equipment and tools, straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms, pick up trash and recycling, and transport to proper disposal areas; light vacuuming, dusting and restocking supplies
- In between events, clean drop‑in desktops, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, perform restroom cleaning and glass cleaning, restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot‑clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2–3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and ones
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and distance (e.g., cups, pints, quarts, gallons)
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, and proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
Compensation: $16.75 – $17.75 per hour
Shift: Monday‑Friday 4 p‑10:30 p
