As an Environmental Assistant at Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro, you will help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and caregivers in a rural community setting where every role matters.

• Provide cleaning and waste disposal services to keep facilities well maintained
• Clean patient rooms, stock PPE baskets, and support indirect patient care
• Order, stock, and rotate cleaning supplies as needed
• Report maintenance, housekeeping, and painting concerns to Environmental Services leadership
• Follow safety guidelines related to body mechanics, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment

• High school diploma or equivalency
• No experience required; 1 year of healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
• Strong dependability, problem‑solving, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and use time effectively
• Commitment to safety, quality, and excellent customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively in a health care environment
