- Oversee preventative maintenance programs, including scheduling and documentation for equipment and vehicles.
- Assign work, provide direction, and ensure team members follow proper procedures and company guidelines.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize efficiency of labor, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space standards.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Monitor and track maintenance activities, ensuring accurate reporting and recordkeeping.

- Asset Management
:
Direct the upkeep of batch plants, overhead cranes, concrete mixers, casting beds, formwork, forklifts, and automated rebar fabrication equipment. - Preventative Maintenance
:
Optimize the Fiix system to schedule required routine maintenance, wear inspections, and component replacements on all equipment. - Team Leadership
:
Recruit, train, and schedule a team of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic technicians across multiple shifts. - Regulatory Compliance
:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental and structural safety standards. - Capital Improvement
:
Collaborate with plant managers and operations managers to design, install, and commission new production lines or facility expansions. - Inventory Control
:
Manage a critical spare parts inventory to minimize downtime during emergency equipment failures.
- Associate degree or equivalent training, or at least 5 years of maintenance management experience.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role within a heavy industrial environment (precast, concrete, aggregate, or mining).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and general maintenance practices.
- Deep understanding of heavy hydraulics, high‑torque gearboxes, pneumatics, and high‑wear material handling systems (conveyors, screws, hoppers).
- Competence in industrial electrical systems (480V, 3‑phase), PLC troubleshooting, and automated sensor calibration.
- Proven track record of managing technical personnel, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and driving a safety‑first culture.
- Experience working with facility systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Ability to document, track, and report maintenance activities effectively.
- Proficiency with computers and maintenance‑related systems.
