The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of equipment readiness and maintenance for all manufacturing and building equipment and equipment processes. This role is responsible for the inspection, service, and repair of a variety of systems - including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication. The Maintenance Technician is a critical role and is responsible for oversight of equipment to meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards.

What You Will Do:

• Conducts analysis of mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment, plan and implement corrective action.

• Repair and maintain all facility equipment.

• Represents the company in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants as it relates to the maintenance of the facility.

• Assist in the selection and installation of replacement or new equipment.

• Collaborate with technicians, production teams, engineering, and management to plan and communicate maintenance activities.

• Oversee the continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation through routine inspections.

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing preventative maintenance programs of production including inspection of plant equipment and inventory for replenishing parts.

• Maintain documentation, machine history, and all other appropriate documentation for production equipment, including the records of tool and equipment use throughout the facility, as well as inspecting or if necessary, requesting replacement for any tools / equipment.

• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas, following all company and regulatory safety standards.

• Fabrication, welding, design, and other duties that ensure successful company operation.

• Other duties as assigned.

o This role is primarily first shift/M-F. However, overtime may be required to ensure efficient facility operations.

o The targeted pay range for this role is $27.25/hr.

- $37.25/hr, based on relevant experience.


You Will Bring:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.

• 3-years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance related field.

• 3 years of working knowledge / hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in welding, hydraulics, pneumatic, fabrication, pumps, mechanical schematics, and retrofitting.

• 3 years of working electrical knowledge, both single-phase and three-phase power supplies, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical schematics.

• 3 years of working knowledge of setting new equipment, creating, and managing PM programs, and contract bid processes.

• Certifications with forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and all PIT.

• Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lb., and perform such other physical duties as may be necessary to inspect all areas of the facility.
