Our long term clients are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Facilities Manager / Houseman to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and presentation of a high-end private residence. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in maintaining a home to the highest standards and works well in a discreet, service‑oriented environment.

The Facilities Manager / Houseman will be responsible for preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, light repairs, and general household support to ensure the residence operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.

• 3+ years of experience in facilities management, estate management, houseman, or similar role with great references

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family, residence, and operations
• Interact professionally with family members, guests, and staff
• Strong handyman and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in private homes, luxury residences, or hospitality preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Physically able to lift, move, and perform hands‑on tasks
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Trustworthy, dependable, and detail‑oriented
• Must be local or willing to relocate

• Experience with smart home systems
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs

Property & Facilities Management:

• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of the residence and grounds
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety needs
• Handle light repairs, troubleshooting, and basic handyman tasks
• Maintain mechanical systems (HVAC coordination, lighting, plumbing checks, etc.)

Vendor & Service Coordination:

• Schedule and supervise third‑party vendors (landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, security, etc.)
• Ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
• Maintain service schedules, warranties, and maintenance records

Household Support:

• Assist with furniture setup, room resets, and household projects
• Support events or family needs as requested (setup, breakdown, logistics)
• Handle deliveries, packages, and inventory of household supplies

Grounds & Exterior Oversight:

• Monitor landscaping, outdoor lighting, irrigation, and exterior cleanliness
• Assist with seasonal preparation and weather‑related needs
