Senior Commercial Drywall Estimator

A well-established and highly respected commercial wall and ceiling contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, estimates, bids, and proposals for commercial drywall projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Develop competitive pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams during project handoff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Assist with value engineering and budgeting throughout the preconstruction process.

• 10+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings.
• Experience preparing detailed takeoffs and competitive bid proposals.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working directly with general contractors.
• Proficiency with OST, Quick Bid, Bluebeam, or comparable estimating software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
