About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to champion the plant's Quality System management. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved and improved. Your expertise in ISO standards and data analysis will be crucial in maintaining a robust quality framework.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead internal audits, ensuring thorough responses to findings and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead management review meetings to discuss quality performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Uphold compliance with quality and environmental management systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the corrective action process, meticulously documenting actions and tracking their implementation to resolve issues.
  • Manage and refine the quality tracking system to provide actionable insights for quality enhancement.
  • Present timely and accurate quality data to inform decision-making and drive effective quality management practices.
  • Partner with quality and operations teams to strengthen the quality management system's effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
  • Evaluate gaging and calibration activities to ensure they meet stringent quality requirements and maintain accuracy.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and data sorting.
  • Competent in drafting and editing documents using MS Word.
  • In-depth knowledge of TS 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with basic mathematical calculations.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience as a quality manager or quality engineer.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Experience with Quality Control Software (PC-DMIS, Calypso)
