Express Lube Tech

Lube Technician is expected to perform the following duties:

• Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the dealership.
• Perform lube, oil, filter, and multipoint services for customer vehicles.
• Teach and support co‑workers to achieve high standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve business operations and customer service.

• Ensure maximum productivity, customer service, and cost control through:
  • Performing all lube, oil, filter, and multi‑point inspection processes to ensure proper diagnoses.
  • Assessing supplemental vehicle needs.
  • Maintaining quality service at all times and notifying management of substandard processes, parts, or procedures.
  • Keeping vehicles clean during servicing and repair.
  • Providing prompt and accurate service and communication to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Carrying out any additional duties requested by management.
• Operate with integrity:
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
  • Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, and maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (recommended but not required).
• One year experience as a technician’s assistant or apprentice.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR in accordance with company policy.
• Local state inspection license preferred.

• Work performed in a shop setting.
• Exposure to various weather conditions during duties.
• Exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, adhesives.
• Required to lift up to a minimum of 100 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely at all times.
