Position:
Air Conditioning Equipment Technician – Department of Defense, Air National Guard Division.
Independently performs skilled preventive maintenance work in operating, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling a variety of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems and equipment, and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements- Legal Authorization To Work Requirement:
State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. - Experience:
FOUR (4) YEARS of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and overhaul of air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment as a helper or apprentice under a journey-level air conditioning and/or refrigeration mechanic. - Substitutions Allowed:
Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply. - Certification
Required:
EPA Clean Air Act Section 608 Universal Technician certification is required; applications without a copy of the certificate will be rejected. - Driver's License:
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. - Physical Requirements:
