Job Title: Operations Sanitation Specialist/Custodian

Job Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout production, warehouse, and common areas supporting food safety and hygienic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, common rooms, hallways, warehouses, and production areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all floor types to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Empty trash, restock supplies like soap, towels, and cleaning agents.
• Use and manage cleaning tools and equipment.
• Promptly report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors to sustain a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in fresh produce production is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Great communication skills and a team-player attitude.
