Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hinsdale, IL. This role oversees day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, sales floor supervision, merchandising, and inventory management. The Store Manager is responsible for leading and coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain store standards. Daily tasks include scheduling staff, monitoring performance, handling customer concerns, ensuring accurate cash handling, and implementing retail loss prevention practices.

The role also involves collaborating with leadership on local marketing activities and providing feedback on product assortment and visual presentation.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused skills including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to create welcoming, personalized shopping experiences.
• Leadership and operational skills such as Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily store operations.
• Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and company leadership.
• Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in fashion or specialty apparel.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced environment, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is a plus.
