Urgently Hiring:
Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our Douglasville office is urgently hiring 2nd shift for our client in Dallas/Hiram GA.

Dallas/Hiram area | Second shift | Temp-to-hire

Candidates must be flexible to work either 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., depending on scheduling needs.

• Inspect the building and equipment, identify problems, and complete scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Handle general facility work involving drywall, doors, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, filters, fans, and other building systems.
• Use hand and power tools safely to troubleshoot and complete repairs.
• Change forklift batteries following required safety procedures.
• Record inspections, maintenance work, and equipment readings in logs or work order systems.
• Communicate repair needs and work completed to the next shift.
• Assist with contractor work and respond to urgent facility issues when needed.

• 4–6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Hands‑on sheetrock replacement and forklift battery changing experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  
  Ability to read equipment manuals, work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA-10 certification is a plus.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime or emergency call‑ins.
• A background check, drug test, and steel‑toe shoes are required.

This is an active role involving extensive walking, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work may take place indoors or outdoors and around industrial equipment.
