We are looking for a Water Treatment / Frac Specialist located in Hobbs, New Mexico

What You Will Do
  • Administer chemicals to treat various water conditions at frac locations.
  • Load trailers and schedule runs to replenish inventory at your location.
  • Operate a frac trailer designed to inject chemical into water transfer lines.
  • Act as an ambassador with customers to showcase value.
  • Follow a rotating schedule.
  • Adhere to company policies and follow Standard Operating Procedure per job task.
  • Wear required personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times during job tasks.
  • Maintain equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections.
  • Navigate via oilfield directions safely to and from job sites.
  • Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards.
  • Wear appropriate safety gear at all times during operations.
  • Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of opportunities to improve driving and safety skills.
  • Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment.
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
  • Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test and wear respirator.
  • Work week and shift:
    Rotational Shift (lone worker) of 7x3 or 7x4.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum high school graduate or GED.
  • Current Class C Driver’s License, issued by the state in which the candidate resides.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record (3 years).
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role.
Physical Demands
  • Safety‑sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
  • Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test and wear respirator.
  • Participate in annual respirator program (clean shaved).
  • Be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Travel to other locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with operation of forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers and gauges.
  • Experience handling products in various packages including bulk, drums, stainless steel totes or IBCs.
  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Experience performing warehouse duties, including preventative maintenance, inventory and ordering of chemicals, receiving shipments, organizing warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage, operating customized chemical manufacturing equipment, and upkeep of warehouse grounds.
  • Awareness of chemical safety and measures to take in event of skin contact or spill.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Prior ChampionX experience.
  • Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
