The Property Department at The Salvation Army is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to support property project coordination and administrative operations across the territory. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate project records, supporting leadership processes, and ensuring efficient property management services that help advance our mission of meeting human needs without discrimination.
CompensationRange
$23.46 to $27.60 hourly, based on experience.

Job ObjectiveAssist the Property Department with the processing of all property projects in an efficient manner. Input all new and revised projects to the Property accounting system.
Essential Functions- Process Property proposals (Interim and TPC) by entering all projects and revisions into Property accounting system and filing back to the Property database.
- Prepare all necessary documents for TPC meeting including the agenda, Prayer Request Cards and Interims List.
- Prepare weekly agendas for TPC Review and TPC meeting.
- Scan TPC findings into the Property database.
- Maintain oversight of legal documents; prepare documents for legal signatures, attach to property proposals, send to divisions/commands as needed, and file legal documents.
- Maintain lease property database. Inform divisions/commands of expiring leases.
- Scan tax notices to send to divisions/commands and file electronically.
- Assist with closing projects in the Property accounting system and noting project status in Property database.
- Send approved minutes to National Headquarters.
- Maintain Territorial Property Council Minutes Master book.
- Provide front desk coverage as scheduled or as needed.
- Maintain department vacation schedule in Property Department calendar.
- Provide back up for Property Services Coordinator.
- Provide administrative assistance for Facility Management Software System.
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Three years of experience in management of property projects.
Certifications:
None.
- Excellent working knowledge of Word, and Excel.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Works well in team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.

- Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 25 pounds.
- Requires bending, squatting and walking.

Working ConditionsWork is performed in a typical office environment. Full-time position; may require some weekend and evening work.
