Student Aide - Health Careers

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

In order to apply for this position you must be a current Harper College student and registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester (fall/spring) you are working. For the summer session, student aides must be registered for at least 3 credit hours in summer or at least 6 credit hours for the following fall semester.

Experience Requirements:
Some general office or customer service experience, preferably in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual students are welcomed but not required.

General Functions:

• Provide general office assistance as determined by the Health Careers division
• Answer phones
• Greet visitors and students at front desk
• Assist students, faculty and staff with daily tasks and special projects
• Perform other office duties as needed

Work schedule will be determined based on student availability. Must have some availability to work during the following weekday hours:

• Monday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Tuesday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Maximum hours per week: 20 hours
