About UsAtom is an AI-native premium domain marketplace for startups and established businesses ready to secure a strong name, build a stronger brand, and move faster toward success. Our curated collection of world-class brandable domains, combined with intelligent discovery, makes finding the right domain fast and seamless, while our platform supports the entire naming journey, from idea generation and research to testing, trademark support, and brand monitoring.
As a fast-growing, AI-first company at the intersection of technology, branding, and startups, Atom offers the chance to build and run a partnership program from the ground up, working directly with founders, operators, and technical teams.
We're looking for a Business Development Specialist to own our partnership program end to end. This isn't a support role. You'll be the single point of accountability for finding partners, closing them, onboarding them, and keeping the program moving. You'll spend most of your time hands-on: prospecting, pitching, negotiating. But you'll also need to step back regularly and think strategically about where the program should go next, what's working, and what needs to change.
You’ll work closely with our tech team to scope integrations and with our Growth team to align partnerships with broader company goals. If you like building something you can point to and improving it over time, this role is built for that.
What You'll Do- Identify, prospect, and reach out to potential partners across relevant markets
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, follow-up, negotiation, and closing
- Lead onboarding for new partners, coordinating with our tech team on integration needs
- Build and maintain partnership collateral: outreach templates, pitch decks, one-pagers
- Track pipeline and program health, and report on what's working
- Step back periodically to reassess strategy: which partner types to prioritize, what messaging is converting, where the program should expand
- Manage the full partner relationship post-close, not just the handoff
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar full-cycle role
- Comfortable owning a process from prospecting through to long-term relationship management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation
- Experience coordinating with technical teams on integration or onboarding requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a full program without close oversight
- High ownership mindset: someone who builds the process, not just executes it
Bonus: experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or domain/branding-adjacent industries
Why This Role is Different- Full ownership of a partnership program, not one piece of a larger team's process
- Direct exposure to founders and high-value strategic decisions
- Room to shape the strategy, not just execute someone else's playbook
- Clear path to grow the function as the program scales
Benefits:401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance
