About the Role
As a You Tube Video Editor, you'll produce polished, long-form video content that educates viewers about invisible illness, shares patient stories, and supports IIAN's advocacy and educational mission.
What You'll Do- Edit long-form You Tube videos, recording from our Invisibly Aware Series; these recordings are about 1 hour long each
- Each month, you will be assigned a new video to edit, with a two-week turnaround timeframe
- Ensure videos meet accessibility standards, including clear audio levels
- Experience editing long-form video content (portfolio or examples welcome but not required)
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
- Passion for healthcare advocacy, patient stories, or disability awareness
- Students, emerging video editors, and experienced professionals are all welcome
