QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Requirements:
To apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer). - Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the department. - Schedule Information:
Must have availability to work during the following hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00‑7:00 pm, Friday: 8:00‑4:30 pm, and two Saturday mornings during final registration week. - Total
Hours:
20 per week.
General Function: Provide general assistance as determined by the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides high‑quality customer service: greets visitors, answers telephone calls, and provides accurate information as appropriate.
- Schedules and maintains appointments in scheduling software to facilitate 24/7 access to advising and orientation appointments in the student portal.
- Delivers individual and group orientation presentations.
- Guides students on campus tours and My Harper portal tours.
- Assists with call campaigns.
