Travelex Business helps clients assess their travel programs, design flexible travel policies, and measure performance through a monthly TRAVEL ROI(c) report that tracks progress toward cost‑reduction goals. Clients also receive the option of face‑to‑face quarterly reviews to refine strategies and ensure long‑term value.
This is a full‑time, on‑site Travel Consultant role based in the Chicago Hoffman Estates area or we will consider a virtual position. The Travel Consultant will advise corporate clients on travel options, policies, and cost‑effective solutions while handling end‑to‑end travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and related services. Daily responsibilities include creating and modifying reservations, managing changes and cancellations, and ensuring compliance with client travel policies and budget guidelines.
The role involves delivering responsive customer service, using travel management systems, and collaborating with internal teams to support accurate reporting on travel activity and cost savings.
- Demonstrated skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with experience supporting corporate travel programs.
- Proficiency in managing Travel Arrangements and Reservations using Sabre.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including timely communication, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work with travel policies, cost‑control guidelines, and reporting tools to support savings and compliance.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple itineraries and deadlines.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in corporate or agency travel is preferred.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the Hoffman Estates office or remotely, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients both virtually and in person setting.
