What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, technical information, pricing, delivery updates, and order support.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Manage customer orders from quote through delivery and invoicing

+ Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat

+ Research part numbers and product information using technical manuals

+ Generate pricing quotes and confirm product availability

+ Process order entries, returns, warranty claims, and credits

+ Provide order status updates and delivery information

+ Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, Sales, Technical Support, and Service teams

+ Gather technical information to identify correct replacement parts

+ Support team members and provide backup coverage when needed

+ Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while handling customer concerns

Schedule Details

+ First 6 months:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

+ After 6 months:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

+ Up to 5 hours of overtime available most weeks

+ After 9 months, employees may bid on earlier shifts (7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM) or remain on the 9 AM-6 PM shift

+ Work schedules are created 3-4 months in advance

Qualifications Required

+ 2+ years of customer service experience

+ Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation

+ Strong verbal communication and phone skills

+ Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

+ Strong data entry and organizational skills

+ Stable work history with solid job tenure

+ Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

Preferred

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one)

+ Call center experience

+ Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial customer service experience

+ Technical, IT, or mechanical aptitude

+ Parts experience (automotive or industrial)

+

Experience with ERP or CRM systems

+ Order entry, quoting, and inventory-related experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hoffman Estates, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
