Job description

Duties for our Dental Front Office Assistant / Dental Receptionist include:
The Dental Receptionist must maintain a professional demeanor and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all patients. The role includes:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Checking in and checking out patients
  • Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming appointments
  • Answer calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information as needed, in a timely and friendly manner
  • Manage patient records, update information, and file paperwork
  • Collect payments for services rendered
  • Filing insurance claims
  • Recare calls when needed
  • Be a team player
  • Maintain excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative and stays ahead of the game
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and reliability
  • Be able to work proficiently through the insurance portals and verify insurance benefits, eligibility, do insurance breakdowns, etc.
  • Manage the doctor and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time.
  • Work with the clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow, provide communication and information to the appropriate individuals.
  • Handle all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
  • Comply with all duties assigned by owner or dentist.

Compensation

$28-33/hour

Hours

Monday-Wednesday: 7:30AM - 5:00PM, Thursday 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday: 7:30AM - 2:00 PM (Two Saturdays a month) Office Timings are subject to change as per patient's requirements.
