Join our dynamic team as a Project Architect, where you will participate in conceptual designs and provide full support throughout entire projects. You will plan and develop complex architectural projects, from schematic design through construction administration, liaising with project management, other architects, and consultants.

• Develop and represent lead technical viewpoints on projects.

• Coordinate with the Principal and Principal-In-Charge on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.

• Oversee a staff of architects and technicians.

• Provide professional consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.

• Expertise in construction documents and architecture.

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up.

• Ability to design and develop architectural projects using Adobe Creative Suite, including elevation and detail production.

• Experience in site survey, zoning, and managing retail and commercial projects.

• Competence in QA/QC, design development, and construction administration.

• Professional degree in Architecture.

• Architectural licensure required.

• 7+ years of experience at an architecture firm.

• General understanding of engineering principles.

• Problem-solving ability.

• Excellent design and artistic skills.

• Creative and innovative mindset.

• Strong communication skills with consultants, contractors, project managers, and supervisors.

• Exceptional visualization skills to bring ideas and pictures to life.

• Team-oriented.

Experience a close-knit family environment where a supportive culture is prioritized. The architectural team is divided into a production group and a project management group, and this role will be part of the production team. The team comprises 17 people, and work is carried out in a hybrid schedulethree days in the office and two days from home. Flexible start and finish hours are offered, with typical hours being 8 am to 5 pm.

The company handles diverse project types, including retail stores, restaurants, fuel stations, travel centers, dispensaries, tenant improvements, and veterinarian hospitals.

This is a Permanent position based out of HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
