Job Description
Teach classes in academic Reading, Writing, Grammar, Communication Skills, and related areas to English as a Second Language students. Courses in the academic ESL program prepare students for higher education and professional goals. Courses range from high‑beginning to advanced level.
QualificationsStarting Pay Rate:
Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale.
Schedule Information:
Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule.
Master’s degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics or a closely related area is required.
Experience RequirementsRequired:
Three years of teaching experience. Preferred:
Teaching experience in English as a Second Language for Academic Purposes (EAP) in higher education in the United States. Native or near‑native proficiency in English.
