Adjunct Faculty – Mammography Instructor

The Radiologic Technology Program is seeking an adjunct faculty member to serve as a mammography instructor.

• Teach one didactic and one mammography course during each fall and spring semesters.
• Lead/participate in a six‑week biweekly didactic course.
• Lead the clinical education portion of the mammography certificate program for 10 weeks.
• Commit to student engagement, success, and instructional excellence.
• Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and utilize a variety of instructional delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources.
• Maintain expertise and certifications appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
• Grade and provide detailed feedback on all assignments in a timely manner.
• Actively respond to student emails and requests within 24 hours.
• Provide course syllabus (including grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline, and contact information).
• Verify student enrollment and submit grades.

• Registered ARRT (R)(M)
• Licensed in the state of Illinois (IEMA)
  Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• At least 2 years employment as a mammographer.
• At least 1 year teaching mammography or related radiologic technology courses.
