ABOUT US QUALIFICATIONS Experience Requirements
The equivalent of one year teaching work experience (2000 hrs.) in the field.
Preferred ExperienceWorking with students whose English is not their first language.
Experience teaching disadvantaged adults is highly desirable.
A bachelor's degree in adult education or related field

ABOUT THE TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES- Teach language arts for successful completion of High School Equivalency (HSE) exam to students without a high school diploma.
- Deliver course content that aligns with the college's curriculum standards and student learning outcomes.
- Develop course syllabi, assignments, and assessments that reflectcurrent industry practices and ensure course outcomes aremet.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and promotes student success.
- Use technology and other resources to enhance course delivery and student engagement, including online, hybrid, or face-to-facemodalities.
- Maintain accurate records of student's progress and grades.
- Must adhere to mid-term verification and final grade postingdeadlines.
- Adhere to institutional policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and accessibility.
