Bachelor’s degree and/or expertise in the area of assignment.
Experience Requirements:Previous teaching experience preferred.
Special Requirements :Criminal background check required forhire.
Courses available for instruction vary. Applicants should listareas of expertise and interest on the application or an attachedcover letter.
JOB DESCRIPTIONInstruct classes for the summer InZone program for students ages6-14.
Duties of Position:Be able to present the curriculum in aninteresting manner as the students work toward the desired outcomesof the class. Instructors must have a strong knowledge base of the material being presented and skilled at curriculum creation.
Position requires an outline for each assigned class stating theday-to-day activities for the students. Classes available cover avariety of subjects including arts, crafts, technology andsports.
InZone program is scheduled Monday through Friday beginning June 8-August 14. Programs areprimarily offered in one- and two-week sessions. Scheduling will be determined based on staffing needs. Flexible scheduling options available.
Staff trainings before the program begins are required.
