Engineering Laboratory Technician

We are hiring a Senior Engineering Laboratory Technician to support advanced radar and RF sensing platforms from early prototype through pilot builds and field validation. This is a hands-on, lab-focused role embedded in a fast-moving R&D environment where hardware moves quickly from concept to real-world deployment.

This is not a design engineering or PE role. The focus is execution, bring-up, debugging, testing, and direct hardware support at the bench.

• Support new hardware designs from early prototype through validated systems
• Perform hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, and characterization
• Work with mixed-signal systems across analog, digital, RF, and power domains
• Support FPGA/SoC platforms (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, high-speed serial interfaces)
• Use lab equipment daily including oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, and logic analyzers
• Perform soldering, rework, modification, and PCB repair
• Assist with mechanical assembly, enclosures, cabling, and system integration
• Build and support prototype test fixtures, jigs, and lab setups
• Execute lab test plans, validation procedures, and field testing support
• Document assembly, test, and validation procedures for repeatable builds
• Partner closely with Hardware, RF, Radar, Test, Systems, Software, and AI teams

• 8+ years of hands-on engineering technician or laboratory experience
• Strong bench-level debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Comfort working across analog, RF, digital, and power systems
• Experience supporting RF, SDR, or radar-based platforms
• Excellent soldering, rework, and PCB repair capabilities
• Ability to read schematics and hardware documentation (Altium a plus)
• Experience in prototype, R&D, or early-stage hardware environments

• mmWave RF exposure
• Python, C, LabVIEW, or scripting for test automation
• Experience building custom lab infrastructure or test fixtures
