Count Room Clerk

Position Summary

The Count Room Clerk is responsible for accurately counting, verifying, and recording cash and other monetary instruments in a secure environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently while standing for extended periods.

• Accurately count and verify cash, coins, and other monetary items
• Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, procedures, and security protocols
• Record and report totals with a high level of accuracy
• Identify and report discrepancies or variances
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements

Must be a 21-year-old to apply.

• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
• Frequent pushing, pulling, and bending
• Ability to lift and move items as needed
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods

• Prior experience in banking, cash handling, or the gaming industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling money
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment
• High level of integrity and reliability

• Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) license preferred
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an IGB license (assistance will be provided if not currently licensed)

Work days are Monday - Wednesday, and Friday - Saturday. Off Thursdays and Sundays.
