Administrator, Accounts Payable & Receivable
Location:
Hoffman Estates, IL – Hybrid Position.
Reports To:
President.
Salary Range: $75,000 to $100,000, based on experience.
Position OverviewJump Fly is seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator, Accounts Payable & Receivable professional to support the financial and administrative operations of the company. This role works closely with the President, Founders, and Director of Human Resources and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll operations, and managing retirement plan administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and comfortable handling confidential financial information in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- 10+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll experience
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree
- Strong Quick Books experience required
- Experience processing payroll;
Paycor experience is a plus - Knowledge of retirement plan administration, including SIMPLE IRA programs
- Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting with clients and company leadership
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Must be able to work onsite in Hoffman Estates, Illinois as part of the hybrid schedule
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and send client invoices
- Monitor incoming payments and collections
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Process monthly company expenses and vendor payments
Maintain accurate financial records in Quick Books
Payroll & Compensation Support
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Administer commission calculations and distributions
- Support payroll reporting and related documentation
- Coordinate with HR on employee compensation matters
Retirement Plan Administration
- Manage SIMPLE IRA contributions and reporting
- Coordinate retirement plan payments with the company's broker
- Ensure timely and accurate retirement account administration
Administrative Support
- Work closely with company leadership on operational and financial initiatives
- Assist with reporting, spreadsheets, and financial documentation
- Support internal processes requiring organization, discretion, and attention to detail
- Hybrid work schedule with 2 remote days per week
