Business Intelligence Platform Administrator
Join a growing Global IT team where your expertise will directly shape the future of enterprise reporting. In this role, you’ll take ownership of Cognos while helping drive modernization across the organization.
What You’ll do:- Serve as primary administrator and technical owner of the IBM Cognos reporting platform, including platform performance, security, user access, and operational support
- Develop and maintain reports within Cognos to support enterprise business needs
- Partner with business stakeholders to assess reporting needs, rationalize legacy reporting inventory, and prioritize consolidation/conversion opportunities
- Support enterprise initiatives to modernize reporting and reduce the Cognos platform footprint over time
- Document reporting logic, technical designs, and migration decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
- 3-5 years of IBM Cognos administrative/support experience
- Strong Cognos report development experience
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience supporting report modernization, migration, or analytics platform evolution
- Ability to balance operational support with strategic transformation work
- Strong stakeholder communication and business analysis skills
- Onsite 5 days per week in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

100% ONSITE in Hoffman Estates, IL.
The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
