We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Manager, Sales Tax & Business Systems to play a critical role in advancing our sales tax compliance, financial operations, and SAP business processes across North America. This unique position combines expertise in sales tax, accounting, data analytics, and ERP systems. The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with complex data, improving business processes, and partnering with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to drive operational excellence.

As a key member of the team, you will help strengthen compliance, enhance reporting capabilities, support strategic system initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our business processes and controls.

• Extract, analyze, reconcile, and validate large volumes of transactional data from SAP and related systems.
• Manage the collection, validation, and maintenance of sales tax exemption documentation while supporting ongoing compliance requirements.
• Coordinate sales tax audits and work closely with external tax advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the SAP Super User for Finance and provide cross-functional support to Sales and Operations teams.

  HANA implementation efforts and lead ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Administer SAP user access and maintain appropriate system controls.
• Troubleshoot SAP transactions, billing, and reporting issues to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support deferred revenue accounting processes, audit preparation, and compliance-related activities.
• Develop reports and analytical tools that improve business visibility, decision-making, and process effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance financial and operational workflows.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A degree in any one of these disciplines meets this requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including expertise in at least two of the following areas: sales tax, accounting, financial systems, business analytics, or ERP support.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, including at least two of the following modules: SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), or CO (Controlling).
• Experience with SAP reporting and data analysis tools, including SQVI and SE16N.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including large data set analysis, Power Pivot, VBA/macros, data manipulation, reporting automation, and data visualization.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or major system enhancements is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional business partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
