This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Buying Professional you will be responsible for :

• Issuing purchase orders and communicating performance expectations and general requirements to suppliers
• Conducting appropriate follow-up on open POs – order acknowledgment, expediting, delivery verification, maintaining PO dates per MRP messages
• Publishing forecasts to help suppliers support requirements at Siemens Healthineers
• Working to resolve receiving and invoice issues
• Working to return rejected material to suppliers
• Meeting regularly with key suppliers to confirm delivery status and drive to improve delivery issues
• Independently solving basic supply chain management issues
• Working with supplier quality, engineering and planning to release Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to suppliers

• Basic knowledge of materials management processes
• SAP Material Management module (MM) experience within a manufacturing environment
• Participate in cross function teams
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• 2 years of buying experience
• Intermediate MS Office software skills
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience
• Buyer, senior buyer, purchasing agent, procurement, supply chain specialist, supply planner, procurement specialist

The base pay range for this position is:

$73,030 - $100,419

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
