Key Responsibilities- Manage Forwarder & Brokerage relationships
- Prepare weekly schedule for system shipments
- Analyze and optimize assigned processes to enhance performance
- Participates in the preparation and maintenance of departmental metrics
- Proposes and takes over responsibility for defined and assigned improvement projects
- Establishes operational vendor relations, identifies and resolves vendor conflicts
- Establishes SCM oriented customer relations in order to meet customer expectations
- Cooperates with the internal Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to Supply Chain processes, guidelines, and tools
- Participates in monitoring/fulfilling materials through the production cycle
- Independently performs important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly-defined issues
- Refers semi-complex, unusual problems to others
- Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems
- Monitor and fulfill SRM orders
- Participate in cross-functional Supply Chain/Supplier Team meetings
- Duties may change based on departmental needs
- Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification may be required in some areas
- Typically 2-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
- Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable
- Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments
- Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and on teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)

The base pay range for this position is: $60,860 - $83,677
