We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support critical manufacturing operations within our production site. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of highly technical equipment, with a strong focus on ensuring maximum uptime, process stability, and safe operation of production systems.
This position is well suited for a hands‑on technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, working in a fast‑paced industrial environment, and supporting continuous improvement across key production areas.
You Are Responsible For- Dismantling, repairing, assembling, installing, and setting up technical equipment and machines in a high‑volume production environment.
- Executing full‑cycle preventative and corrective maintenance on crystal growing furnaces to ensure maximum uptime and process stability.
- Supporting maintenance operations across critical production areas, including raw material preparation, saw and mill rooms, and forging areas.
- Planning and executing assigned maintenance projects independently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to site standards.
- Analyzing technical problems on‑site and completing mechanical and/or electrical repairs in response to work orders and equipment failures.
- Performing ramp‑up, set‑up, and start‑up procedures to prepare machines and equipment for safe and efficient operations.
- Contributing to installation and equipment improvement projects in collaboration with Industrial Engineering and production teams.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation related to equipment, processes, and maintenance activities.
- Providing technical guidance and informal mentoring to junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Supporting a variety of equipment types while contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.
- Technical training, associate degree, or equivalent experience in Maintenance Technology, Industrial Mechanics, Electrical Systems, or a related field.
- Experience performing mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems and best practices.
- Willingness and ability to support operational requirements across multiple shifts (1st and 2nd), including potential weekend work as needed.
- Experience supporting furnace systems, thermal processing equipment, or other complex production machinery.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and equipment compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Comfort working in critical production areas where uptime and quality are essential.
