As Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end assembly and production of highly engineered industrial equipment, ensuring products are built safely, efficiently, and delivered on schedule. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and takes pride in driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Lead daily production and assembly operations from incoming materials through final product shipment
Manage and develop a team of assembly technicians, material handlers, and maintenance personnel
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), production schedules, and labor utilization
Utilize ERP systems to manage production planning, material flow, and operational execution
Collaborate closely with Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and other departments to proactively resolve issues and maintain delivery commitments
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and employee engagement
Qualifications5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience overseeing assembly or production operations from raw materials through final product build and shipment (3-4 years considered for strong candidates)
Experience leading hourly manufacturing employees in a hands-on environment
Proven success driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational performance initiatives
Strong ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
Ability to identify risks early, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively across departments
Bachelor's degree and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
