• As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, support packaging and kitting‑related activities aligned with production requirements.
• Create and maintain packaging and kitting documentation, including drawings, specifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Drive improvements to kitting processes, material presentation, and production‑floor efficiency, including shadow boards and packaging layouts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, Compliance, Logistics, and Service teams to ensure alignment with operational and SCM needs.
• Support packaging‑related evaluations, issue resolution, and sustaining activities, including updates driven by production or field feedback.
• Provide broader support to Manufacturing Engineering, including ECO implementation, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering.
• 0‑3 years of experience in packaging engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of packaging materials, product protection, and transport considerations.
• Exposure to controlled documentation practices, including creation or use of specifications, work instructions, or labeling within a regulated or structured environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear and accurate technical documentation.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting proficiency and problem‑solving skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Committed to following safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to travel on an ad‑hoc basis.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Hands‑on experience with packaging, kitting, or material flow in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Experience with medical device quality systems and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, MDSAP).
• Familiarity with ISTA, ASTM, or equivalent packaging and transportation test standards.
• Mastery of good documentation practices.

Base pay range for this position is: $81,780 – $112,453.
