Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing is required.

Experience Requirements: Mental Health nursing experience required. Teaching experience preferred. Current Illinois Registered Nurse license or eligibility for Illinois license. CPR certified.

With continuous advancement in patient care, health care workers with training in the latest technology and best practices are in constant demand. The Harper College Health Careers Division prepares students for a career in a variety of health settings, from hospitals and clinics, to nursing homes and community-based organizations.

Clinical supervision of nursing students in a mental health care facility one or two days per week; evenings and weekends may be available. Additional hours may be required for on-campus lab activities.
