** How you'll make an impact in this role*

** Drive Diagnostic Excellence & Patient Safety:
** Provide expert, direct nursing care during cardiac stress testing and diagnostic cardiology procedures, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions in real time.

** Lead Care Coordination & Physician Support:
** Act as the clinical anchor for the diagnostic team by seamlessly executing physician orders and collaborating across disciplines to ensure efficient, well-coordinated patient care.

** Manage Patient Care Plans:
** Implement and continuously monitor specialized cardiac care plans, actively tracking patient responses to testing to ensure optimal outcomes and immediate clinical intervention if necessary.

** Facilitate Smooth Discharges & Next Steps:
** Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs following diagnostic procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients are safely transitioned and well-informed of their follow-up care.

** What minimum requirements you'll need*
* Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

+ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
