Position Overview
Certified Veterinary Technician – Medical Oncology
Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists – Hoffman Estates, IL
Full-time, 4–5 day work week; 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. or 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Experience & Skill Requirements- 1–2 years of Medical Oncology experience preferred
- Specialty experience highly preferred
- Chemotherapy handling experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture and IVC placement required
- Ability to multi‑task, adjust, and learn in a fast‑paced environment
- Energetic team player with strong communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Use technical skills, learn from new experiences
- Provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care.
- CVT required
- Bonus: VTS (Oncology)
- Compensation $25–30/hr (negotiable based on credentials and experience)
