Overview
Petland is hiring full-time Shift Managers for its Chicagoland stores located in Hoffman Estates, Bolingbrook and Batavia. We offer a unique and fun working environment with competitive pay, sales incentives, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the health and welfare of all animals in the store.
- Manage Pet Counselors and ensure high levels of customer service and sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal cages and the overall care and well-being of all animals.
- Educate customers on keeping their pets and ensure customers are well set up to care for them.
- Three years of experience in retail management with an emphasis on improving employee performance.
The store is open 7 days a week: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday–Saturday) and 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sunday). Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends and be on their feet for long periods; ability to work above head and below feet as needed.
Compensation and BenefitsHourly management pay ranges from $12–$20+ per hour with sales incentives. Benefits include a unique and fun working environment and significant employee discounts.
