Territory Coverage Associate
As a Territory Coverage Associate at Mondelēz International, you convert staffing gaps into reliable, high‑quality execution, providing hands‑on support to Merchandisers and Order Writers, maintaining operational consistency, upholding brand execution standards, and ensuring stores stay aligned with company expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism and reliability, supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers.
- Serve as a trusted field partner delivering strong customer service while reinforcing Mondelēz standards and expectations.
- Execute daily coverage by visiting stores using Merchandising Excellence and Order Writing standards, capturing display photos, and documenting execution through DMI & Sales Force.
- Implement promotional displays, ensuring compliance with RTM‑negotiated plans and maintaining brand visibility.
- Follow assigned schedules, executing daily priorities set by your District Manager or RTM to ensure efficient territory coverage.
- Assist with seasonal transitions, supporting new product launches and high‑visibility promotional events.
- Build relationships with store personnel, including receivers, department managers, and store leadership.
- Support capability building by reinforcing foundational skills and assisting with the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers.
- Develop for future leadership by building operational, communication, and problem‑solving skills for advancement.
- Maintain safety and compliance, following all safety protocols, operational guidelines, and company vehicle policies.
- Coverage and Execution Excellence – skilled in stepping into Merchandiser and Order Writer roles to maintain shelf standards.
- Customer Service Mindset – friendly, approachable, and committed to positive experiences for store teams and shoppers.
- Digital Readiness – confident using mobile tools and applications to follow schedules and document coverage.
- Adaptability and Initiative – proactive in responding to coverage needs, seasonal priorities, and unexpected store challenges.

- Physical Readiness – energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day.
- Capability Support – confident reinforcing foundational skills and supporting onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers.
- Minimum qualifications:
18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), 1–3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods, live within geographical boundaries, flexible schedule availability including weekends, and ability to travel across assigned markets. - Physical capability: capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. (occasionally over 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, etc.
- Mondelez offers a company vehicle, a gas card, and a vehicle maintenance program.
The base salary range for this position is $40,600 to $55,825, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. Employees may also participate in a competitive bonus program based on performance and company results.

Many benefits have eligibility requirements and are subsidized or fully paid by the company. No relocation support is available.
