We're a dynamic, fast-paced company specializing in domain name sales and branding solutions, and we're expanding into strategic partnerships with the AI builder platforms (think: AI app and website builders) reshaping how businesses come online.
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to drive outbound growth — building targeted contact lists, running high-volume personalized email outreach, and keeping our pipeline organized and moving. This is a research-and-outreach-first role: you'll spend real time in spreadsheets, CRMs, and inboxes, and you'll take pride in doing that work well.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in outside or outside sales at a tech company or startup, genuinely enjoys — sourcing contacts, building lists, managing a CRM, running email sequences — and can think through a prospect's context enough to customize outreach instead of copy-pasting a template. You'll work closely with our Growth and Partnerships leads to keep target lists current and outreach moving on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and prioritize structured outreach lists (target companies, decision-makers, contact info) in spreadsheets and our CRM
- Research and identify accurate contact information for key decision-makers (CEOs and other leaders) at target companies
- Execute volume email outreach campaigns, customizing messaging based on each prospect's specific situation
- Track outreach status, replies, and follow-ups, keeping the pipeline clean and up to date
- Continuously refine target lists and messaging based on response rates and feedback from the team
- Hand off warm responses and qualified conversations to the Partnerships/Growth lead for next steps
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales at a tech company or startup
- Hands-on experience with volume email outreach (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, lemlist, Smartlead, Instantly, Mailshake, or similar)
- Strong research and list-building skills; comfortable living in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and a CRM
- Excellent written communication skills — able to customize outreach at scale without sounding templated
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed; genuinely enjoys process-driven, structured work
- Comfortable multitasking across many active outreach threads at once
- Experience prospecting into or partnering with startups/tech companies is a plus
- Experience in domain names, branding, or SaaS partnerships is a plus, not required
