As a successful Field
Service Technician
, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills, a friendly outlook, common sense approach to performing property maintenance service in residential and commercial settings. A top-level Lead Service Technician efficiently manages all service callouts, providing high-quality service and maintenance for any job size. Typical services to be performed: van maintenance and resupply, duct cleaning, power washing, pipe jetting, alarm test and replacement, and more.
- Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches.
- Meet with the client to greet them and explain the services you will be providing.
- Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins.
- Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Install and test new equipment.
- Provide preventive equipment maintenance.
- Provide technical training on new equipment installations.
- Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle.
- Complete job reports.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment.
