Responsibilities
- Fulfill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and distribute to internal departments or designated storage areas
- Sort and put away inventory onto appropriate racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Verify inventory in system through cycle counts and investigate discrepancies and adjust any errors
- Mark inventory with identifying information and update system with number and type of items received or distributed
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed including unloading of trucks, checking in inventory and packing outgoing shipments
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Forklift experience required
- 3 months or more related experience and/or training
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Basic math, reading comprehension and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
