Housekeeper - Freedom Village Holland
Pay: $15.00-$16.00/hr Sign‑On Bonus: $1,500
Schedule:
Full‑Time
• 1st Shift
About the Role
* Maintain cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas
* Support a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents
* Follow housekeeping priorities and instructions from supervisor
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general housekeeping in apartments: vacuuming, bathroom/kitchen cleaning, dusting
* Clean hallways and common areas as directed
* Complete tasks in priority order set by supervisor
* Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition
* Attend in‑service training and education sessions
* Perform additional duties as assigned
* Maintain resident confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
* Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
* Strong communication skills
* Previous housekeeping experience preferred (not required)
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Physical Requirements
* Moderate to heavy physical effort for most of the workday
* Stand and walk long distances (up to 8 hours/day)
* Frequent stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, and stretching
* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently
* Push/pull carts up to 100 lbs over various surfaces
* Operate vacuums and work in confined spaces
* Regular contact with residents
* Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals, odors, and communicable diseases
