Site Manager – Janitorial & Cleaning Operations

Schedule: Evening/Night Shift
Reports To: Operations Manager

We are hiring a reliable Site Manager to lead cleaning operations at a commercial facility in Holland, MI.

You will lead the cleaning team, check work quality, manage supplies and staffing, work with customers, and make sure the facility is clean and secure each night.

Cleaning, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Lead and support the cleaning team.
• Train and coach employees.
• Assign and check daily cleaning tasks.
• Inspect work and maintain quality standards.
• Resolve cleaning and site issues.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
• Track labor hours and productivity.
• Ensure proper uniforms and PPE are used.
• Communicate staffing needs.
• Respond to customer questions and requests.
• Complete daily site reports.
• Make sure the facility is locked and secure.
• Keep the Operations Manager informed of site needs.
• Promote a positive and professional team.

• Cleaning, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility experience preferred.
• Team lead or supervisor experience is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to train and lead a team.
• Able to manage time and priorities.
• Able to track labor hours.
• Able to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Basic computer, smartphone, and email skills.
• Available to work evening/night shifts.
• Able to pass required background checks and meet site requirements.

As Site Manager, you will be the on-site leader for the cleaning team. You will provide direction, check work, solve problems, and make sure the customer receives consistent, high-quality service.
