For our Manufacturing Studio, we are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician Lead to perform installations, repairs and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. A great maintenance technician lead will have a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, pneumatics and carpentry. They will have a solid understanding of all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude for undertaking administrative tasks such as basic shop maintenance, tool upkeep and inventory procedures.
This candidate will be required to communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and Operations team daily to ensure the company facilities are well cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
- Carry out routine inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
- Perform all repair and installation activities.
- Adhere to developed maintenance procedures and ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Monitor equipment inventory and alert the Maintenance Manager as necessary.
- Monitor and control expendable resources.
- Work with contractors and service providers to support facility needs.
- Manage workload and perform all tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Utilize computer software systems such as CMMS, Excel and other relevant programs effectively.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems independently.
- Triage work orders appropriately to prioritize urgent needs.
- Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the broader maintenance team.
- Foster a safe and healthy work environment, compliant with standards and legal regulations.
- 3 years experience as a maintenance technician.
- Basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC understanding.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and ability to be proactive.
- Experience in executing maintenance operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively across other sites and departments.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
- CNC and compressor experience a PLUS.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational aptitude.
- High school diploma or degree from a vocational school.

The base range is $26/hr–$30/hr plus potential performance bonuses. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications and location. Framebridge believes the posted salary range is accurate for this role at the time of posting. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications and location, and may be modified in the future.
