Job Description
LFS/KFS is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to sell, install, and service hydraulic systems, steering systems, and equipment.
Essential Functions- Work with customers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
- Provide technical and non‑technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.
- Customize, install, and assemble hydraulic units, parts, and motors to meet customer specifications and system requirements.
- Inspect hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear.
- Disassemble hydraulic systems and remove and replace defective actuators, pump bearings, pump motors, or accumulators.
- Replace worn or damaged hydraulic components such as oil lines, fittings, cylinders, servo‑valves, pressure release valves, gaskets, and seals.
- Observe operation of hydraulic systems to verify proper installation and/or repair.
- Utilize a combination of technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Represent LFS by using our core values to guide your behavior and business decisions.
This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week, year‑round position. Housing and transportation/relocation are not included.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Education and Experience
- Technical School certificate.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience.
- Combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Parker products.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Employee moves objects:
- Regularly up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
