Legal Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Receptionist to support a busy office through a contract assignment. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, helping create a welcoming and organized environment while keeping daily front-desk activities running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a legal or office setting.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner while maintaining an experienced and detail-oriented front-desk presence.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, direct incoming calls accurately, and take clear messages to ensure timely communication across the office.
• Coordinate routine reception activities such as handling inquiries, monitoring the front office area, and supporting day-to-day administrative workflow.
• Prepare, organize, and distribute documents, correspondence, and other materials using Microsoft Office applications as needed.
• Maintain orderly records and assist with general office tasks that contribute to efficient daily operations.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff in a small office setting to keep priorities on track and respond to shifting needs.
• Take initiative in resolving routine issues independently while escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
• Provide additional administrative support and complete other assigned tasks to help the office operate effectively.
The pay range for this position is 20 to 24. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan.
